Come help Two Rivers Habitat for Humanity with our two projects in Rochester, MN! We have a brand new build going up, as well as a recycle. A recycle is "A home that was sold to a Habitat Qualifying Homebuyer who then sold it back to us for a variety of reasons." Our goal with Habitat recycles is to keep affordable homes in our communities. This is a great chance for us to make updates and prepare the home for a new qualified Habitat Homebuyer to purchase the home and obtain an affordable mortgage.
Volunteer safety is our top priority. All volunteers must be 18+. All volunteers are required to wear close-toed shoes, and we encourage you to wear pants, not shorts, when weather allows. We provide all of the safety equipment, tools, and training that you will need to volunteer on the build site. If you own work gloves, safety glasses, or hearing protection, plese feel free to bring them.
With these projects, tasks will vary by day and you can expect to receive an email with any additional information in terms of the upcoming days work.
